The Adventurer's Pack and Early Access
It’s dangerous to go alone! Take This.
Originally my goal for LINK was to create a simple note taking app that was fast and easy to use. For the most part, I feel like I accomplished that with the release of the “Writer’s Update”.
While I have a few more features and fixes I’ve been working on that I will release soon, if I wish to continue development I need to consider the viability of the project as a professional application.
So, as of today, I am moving LINK from Prototype into Early Access.
Don’t fret, I still plan on releasing a free version of LINK while it’s in Early Access so for the most part nothing really will change. You’ll still be able to use LINK and any upcoming versions for the time being without spending a dime.
If I can still get LINK for free, why would I bother purchasing it in Early Access?
That’s a good question.
Besides supporting LINK’s development and helping me along in my quest to build a better digital notebook, there are some perks.
Adventurer’s Pack
For starters, I’ve included some “behind the scenes” sketches I made while initially developing LINK and even a bonus pen sketch I made, just for you!
Sure, everyone who purchases LINK will get a copy, but I mostly made it for you.
Also included is a full res copy of the LINK logo and a special message from me.
All of those can be found in the “Adventurer’s Pack” download.
I’m hoping to turn this into a regular thing as despite it being a productivity tool, there’s something bubbling under the surface that is begging to be explored.
As an early access patron, you’ll get to check it out first before anyone else. Some of the stuff will only be available in the Adventurer’s Pack and might even be removed in a future update.
Experience the Bleeding Edge
Life’s been pretty hectic as of late so I haven’t had as much time to spend finalizing the work I’ve done on LINK since the “Writer’s Update”.
I’m not ready to publish it in the state it’s in for a general release but for those of you who are interested in trying out the bleeding edge features, I will be able to upload new builds much more often.
Of course, as an early access patron, you’ll also have a some influence over the direction LINK takes. I have an overarching goal in mind, but there’s a lot of details I’m still working out.
Once the application has reached a stable state, I will publish it as a free download like I have been.
I want to thank all of you for your support over these last few months.
If you’re ready for adventure, please consider purchasing LINK and I’ll do what I can to make it an exciting one.
