Finding the Core
LINK’s Development is on hiatus because I can’t think of anything that I’d add that would make the core idea any better than it currently is.
Since I can’t think of anything to add I want to see what I can remove. I am going to reevaluate my original design decisions and zero in on what I think makes LINK great, the ability to place and edit notes anywhere, quickly.
I want to distill LINK down to the bare minimum features necessary to realize this goal and build on top of this foundation.
It’ll take time and that is something I am short on at the moment but all great adventures have to start somewhere.
The biggest question I have is, what do I call the place I stick all of these notes?
So far I’ve gone with “wall”, “map”, and “linkscape” but I need to choose one or go with something completely different.
What do you think?
P.S. LINK Jamboree II is still something I want to do but I’m pushing it off a bit.
