Icons, Optimizations & Bugfixes
So I’m happy to announce LINK! finally has its own custom icons!
I’ve improved performance again by doing the oldest trick in the book, not doing stuff that doesn’t need to be done, mainly when rendering.
There are a few graphical glitches but nothing breaking and they’re barely noticeable. I’ve hopefully caught all of the major ones.
I’m getting closer to getting the CPU usage down to zero. Not really sure what else I could do but I’m happy with the improvements so far.
Partly this was accomplished with setting the FPS to 30. If you’d prefer the old 60 fps or want to lower it still, this can be changed in the game.lua file next to link.exe (edit the variable AG.FPS, 0 is default).
Otherwise I fixed various bugs I came across.
Overall, with the new icons it’ll be easier to find LINK! on the taskbar and the performance improvements will save a few CPU cycles too.
