Introducing Ooze Factory

I worked on this game in the course of a month over three years ago before I took a hiatus from game development. Sometime around last summer I began to dip my toe into the game development waters again by working on another even older project. A few months ago I decided to finish polishing it up for a full release which became Robots, Attack!. With that complete I’ve been looking forward to working on Ooze Factory once again.

Since it’s been a few years and a new computer later I’ve taken the time to get the project running again and can begin to delve into the code once more.

My first goal is to get a working prototype that I can distribute. Since it never made it off my development machine, there’s some quirks that’ll make playing this game over the Internet a frustrating affair.

After the prototype has been published I’ll start by cleaning up the code base so I can more easily extend it. The first features I intend to add is animation and sfx support.
